FOR PLAYERS BORN August 2023-2013

Dates: August 24 - October 24, 2026 (No session on Labor Day)

Highlights:

• Fall Dates: August 24 - October 24
• 9 weeks of training and 7 games. No training on Labor Day. No Makeups for sessions or games not played. 
• Professional training sessions led by staff who are experienced in soccer and early childhood development· Volunteer Game Day Coaches: Mentored by Juniors Director
• If you are interested in coaching, please note in your registration. We lean on our awesome volunteers. We keep roster numbers low which means we need a lot of help on game day. Thank you for your help!

• Family chooses training session day(s) when registering; please choose carefully as we are unable to make any changes once you are registered. Please note: ALBION Juniors does NOT offer refunds. SPACE IS LIMITED!
• One buddy request honored for game day roster (must be reciprocated); if more than one buddy is listed, we will look at the player listed first on your registration form
• Training times no earlier than 4pm and finishing no later than 7:30pm (typically youngest players train 415-515pm and oldest 620-720pm but we have flexibility and cannot guarantee training times. Times will be set approximately one week prior to start date). Hickman training times will most likely be 4:30pm and 5:35pm
• ALL PLAYERS: ALBION SC Juniors Kit to be purchased separately (Link to order will be sent separately. Please note that we are no longer using Capelli and cannot allow our Juniors players to wear Capelli branded items). If you have the full kit from the past spring or fall you can use that!
• All Star Program/Clinic for identified players (U6-U12)
• Registration deadline: July 15 (buddy requests after this date are not guaranteed, register early to guarantee placement)
• We reserve the right to combine sessions as needed to facilitate the best environment for all
• Shin guards mandatory, no jewelry, no hats, bring size 3 or 4 ball, water, cleats recommended

New Age Group Matrix

• U4 (co-ed) August 1, 2022 - July 31, 2023

• U6 August 1, 2020 - July 31, 2022

• U8 August 1, 2018 - July 31, 2020

• U10 August 1, 2016 - July 31, 2018

• U12 August 1, 2014 - July 31, 2016

The players will experience:

• Basics of the game

DEVELOPMENT MODEL:

Based on US Youth Soccer recommendation: Teams may be adjusted on game day to create fair and balanced games, foster sportsmanship, focus on the development of players, and/or give the opportunity to play with different players and take away any overly competitive atmosphere.
 

SESSIONS

Choose your session when registering. Teams will be formed from the pool of players that are registered for the spring season based on experience and one buddy request. Players wishing to ‘play up’ must register in their age group and email dan.raeihle@albionscsandiego.org for approval.
